Trained in commercial art and shaped by decades of travel across the Middle East, Africa, and Canada, Sudhir Sharma has cultivated a visual language that blends technical mastery with emotional resonance.

His watercolours and acrylics move fluidly between intimate details and sweeping vistas: the hushed stillness of an old Saudi street glimpsed through a doorway, the timeless steps of an Indian ghat, the bloom of spring branches, or the vastness of Lake Louise under mountain skies. Across each canvas, one feels both the permanence of place and the transience of people; streets and rivers endure while faces, footsteps, and voices come and go.

This exhibition marks Sharma’s first solo show in Vancouver in nearly two decades. It is a homecoming of sorts, not just to a city but to the act of sharing stories through color.
